Rally.TV is set to become more accessible than ever before, as a standalone offering on DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform.
Announced today (10 April) as a long-term agreement, Rally.TV will be available globally* across the DAZN platform, beginning in late May. As such, millions of DAZN subscribers will be able to enjoy Rally.TV both through the premium add-on and through selected free-to-access content.
Rally.TV is dedicated to delivering every moment of action from the highest echelon of the sport. This includes a 24/7 channel delivering more than 30 weekends of live rallying per year, including every round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) and FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). The live offering is supplemented by programming from the Promoter’s diverse archive, reliving the best moments from each of the championships’ histories as well as onboard from some of rally’s most iconic stages.
Launched in 2016, DAZN has rapidly set about redefining the way sport is consumed by pioneering over-the-top sports streaming with an offering of multiple premium sports properties including top-division European and women’s football, basketball, motorsport, boxing and combat sports, and the National Football League (NFL).
Available in more than 200 territories globally, DAZN promises to bring Rally.TV to an all-new worldwide audience of millions across multiple internet-enabled devices and via the most comprehensive distribution network of any major sports streaming platform. This increased accessibility will be delivered by DAZN’s world-leading technology, which enables live and on-demand content to be streamed at scale, while also providing the capability to localise in key markets.
Rally.TV will join the likes of NFL Game Pass, PGA Tour Pass and FIBA’s Courtside 1891 as a standalone channel within the DAZN platform. All are available as part of an upgraded DAZN subscription or as a standalone service.
“Rally.TV on DAZN enrichens the offering for DAZN’s customers as well as delivering Rally.TV to a new audience,” expressed WRC Promoter Managing Director Jona Siebel.
“We are excited to be aligning with DAZN and unlocking the potential of Rally.TV within their vast global network.”
Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said: “DAZN’s scalable and best in class technology is ideally suited to creating destinations for sports fans, with our ability to reach millions of users across 200 plus territories, while creating bespoke and localised experiences in core markets. This partnership with Rally.TV will create a global home for their brilliant and compelling competitions, helping rally fans better access the sport they are so passionate about, while creating new engagement opportunities for WRC to access potential fans. This is the latest in a series of channel deals that sees DAZN continuing to enhance the way rights holders can increase exposure and develop their sport commercially and digitally.”
