The official BMW Group España team will compete in the Iberian Supercars after having successfully competed at national level in the last two seasons. The BMW M4 GT4 G82 will be a true work of art on wheels sporting an exclusive design by Juan Días-Faes on the best tracks of the Iberian peninsula.
BMW España Motorsport will once again be competing at the highest level of motorsport during the 2024 campaign as the official BMW Group España team will be racing in the Iberian Supercars and Supercars España this season.
After the successes of the last two seasons, BMW España Motorsport is looking forward to a sporting programme with the utmost motivation and ambition to continue adding to its already brilliant track record. BMW España Motorsport won the Spanish Endurance Championship title in 2022, debuting a BMW M2 CS Racing car with which they were also runners-up in the Winter Series that same year, and then repeated in 2023 in the Spanish GT Championship, debuting the brand-new BMW M4 GT4 G82 in the same way.
The BMW M4 GT4 G82 will once again the teams’ choice for their maiden Iberian Supercars in 2024. Continuing a successful project from the outset, the driver duo will once again be José Manuel De los Milagros and Nerea Martí. Together, the Madrid-born driver and the Valencian female racer combine talent and the experience of having formed a team throughout BMW España Motorsport’s history in competition.
The big novelty of the new campaign will be the design of the BMW M4 GT4 G82, which will make it not only a racing car but also a true work of art. Following in the footsteps of other renowned artists such as Alexander Calder, Frank Stella, Roy Liechtenstein, Andy Warhol, or Jenny Holzer, who turned different BMW models into iconic racing masterpieces, Juan Díaz-Faes has prepared a unique and exclusive decoration ready to leave no one indifferent. The work will be based on the influence of classic comics, with the aim of keeping the spectator observing the car. The more attention they pay, the more details and hidden elements they will discover.
Iberian Supercars will kick off in Jerez de la Frontera on 25-26 May
