Pietrasanta (ITA) 5.07.2023 Academy Motorsport is ready for the third round to be held on July 9 and 10 in Vallelunga on the 4.085 km of the Piero Taruffi Italian racetrack. The home race marks the turning point of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series championship and Academy Motorsport after the brilliant start of the season in Valencia and the important results at Brands Hatch is now determined to give continuity to this extraordinary growth and constant improvement. Four drivers committed to the race weekend, Vladimiros Tziortzis ready to extend his lead in En2 and make up a few positions in EnPro with his #5 FJ “Totally ready for this new challenge, I love that circuit also because it is very technical and stimulating. I want to give my best for myself but also for the whole team and my spornsors, we deserve these results after all the work done.” Advait Deodhar ready to put into practice the increased feeling with the Ford Mustang #1 and looking for another podium in EnPro : “I’m ready for Valleleunga it is such a fun track to drive on, I love it, looking forward to a good weekend and hope we can fight in the front” declares the driver.
After the first race held with Academy Motorsport at Brands Hatch the 16-year-old Australian-born Max Mason returns to the team and wants to consolidate his apprenticeship in the European Nascar series and declares:” I have been training very well in the last weeks and I have full confidence in my abilities and the incredible car tha Academy motorsport has built. I am determined to push myself to the limits and showcase the teams’s hard work.Together we are ready to leave our mark and make this race weekend incredible.”
Team owner and driver Federico Monti is back at the wheel of the #1 Ford Mustang for the Club Challenge on Friday 7th July: “I can’t wait to get back on track for the Club Challenge, there is great motivation from the whole team to get more important results, all the drivers are very determined starting from Vladimiros who wants to continue winning, Advait and Max are more and more motivated now that they have gained more feeling with the car. It is our home race and we want to do well to thank all the fans who support us.
Saturday 8th sees the green light for qualifying at 10:00, the first EnPro race (75km) at 14:15 and the En2 race (60km) in the afternoon at 17:00.
Sunday’s races will be run in reverse order, with the En2 race starting at 10:30 and the EnPro at 14:30.
