Modena (I), May 15, 2023. Andrea Montermini is back in the International GT Open at the
wheel of the AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 shared with Swiss driver Gino Forgione.
The former F1 driver and the multi-time GT champion from Modena, is joined by
Theometrics Global, the international company headed by Greek-American entrepreneur
Sam Stathis. The company’s clear message whose promoter on track is Andrea
Montermini, is to provide concrete help to Ukraine, Theometrics Global and other
companies owned by Sam Stathis are providing direct aid like reconnaissance drones and
economic support to the country that is now at war.
The partnership between Montermini and Theometrics made its official debut at the first
round of the International GT Open in Portugal in Portimao on 30th April. On the occasion
of the beginning of the international series, Stathis himself expressed his desire to offer
maximum support to those realities that hope to relaunch and recover themselves, but he
also wishes to help those that want to emerge thanks to their own potential. The American
magnate’s focus is directed towards projects that are under development in our country.
– “I love to be very direct and practical – says Stathis – the sporting challenge fascinates us
very much, and sharing these feelings with a driver like Montermini and with Ferrari is
certainly as exciting as sending our messages of concrete help to realities that are
relaunching and recovering, both of which are synonymous with important challenges.”-
“Theometrics is a dynamic brand which reflects the character of the company’s founder –
says Andrea Montermini – Having a prestigious name with strong values of
entrepreneurship and solidarity is a for sure a great motivation. The International GT Open
2023 looks particularly exciting from a sporting point of view, with a very high level of
participants, so we can count on a strong following to meet the expectations of our
partners”.
Next event at Spa Francorchamps on the weekend of 28th May.
