The Italian team led by Federico Monti in collaboration with former F1 driver Alex Caffi after the success in Valencia takes the podium at the legendary Brands Hatch circuit.
Brands Hatch (UK) 10.05.2022. An incredible day full of emotions this one that has opened the race weekend on the historic English circuit where the ninth edition of the America SpeedFest is taking place. The Italian team immediately won a super pole with the Cypriot Vladimiros Tziortzis on FJ #5 and then the second step of the podium, at the end of EN2 race, after leading a difficult race and setting the best time on track. An incredible challenge full of twists and turns with the entry of two safety cars that influenced the restart with only one lap to go.
Disappointed with the finish but nevertheless satisfied with the times and performance Vladimiros commented: “It was certainly a difficult race and repeatedly interrupted on this type of circuit that does not allow any mistakes. However, I am satisfied and tomorrow we will start off even more determined.”
Patrick Lemariè did not find the right grip and optimum feeling for this type of event in the EnPro category in car # 5, wich he shares with his team mate.
Great growth in his second race in the Euro Nascar Whelen series for 18-year-old Lithuanian Kasparas Vingilis in En2 who drove a solid race and took 17th place overall. “I am happy with the result also because it was not an easy race, so many challenges going on in such a short track,” commented the rookie.
A less fortunate day for Greek Thomas Krasonis, who after some good qualifying could not take part in the EnPro race due to a battery problem
