Treviso (Italy), September 21, 2017. Cetilar Villorba Corse seeks revenge in the fifth round of the 2017 European Le Mans Series to be held this weekend in Belgium. Italian team is ready for the 4 Hours of Spa, expected to be one of the most demanding events of the season for racing drivers Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Andrea Belicchi on the #47 Dallara P217 Gibson. After their amazing debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and World Endurance Championship last June, the squad led by Raimondo Amadio had not an easy summer season back in the European series with a retire with no blame at the Red Bull Ring and a difficult comeback at Le Castellet. Now it is time to face the challenging Belgian track for the first time in the LMP2 class and to be concrete again to score important points. Thirty-five cars will compete in Spa: on Sunday, September 24, the race will start at 12:00 CET (live streaming on
Team Principal Amadio says: “No doubt that there is a strong desire to take revenge after last results, but we are well aware that our LMP2 debut in Spa is going to be very demanding. Getting back on this track, where we had great results in GT racing, always represents a must for a team like ours so the guys feel a special motivation to do well at their first attempt with Dallara. And we hope that this time luck can give us a little help during the weekend”.
