New Porsche Cayman, from the Andalusian team Pro-Rallye, makes its GT4 South European debut with driver Andrius Zemaitis
The Andalusian team Pro-Rallye, a usual presence in rallys, hill climb championships and circuits competitions with the CET (Spanish Tourism Championship), will enroll a Porsche Cayman Clubsport MR GT4 in the Jerez de La Frontera race.
Team leader Carlos Diaz says, “Pro-Rallye is pleased to start this new GT4 project, thanks to Andrius Zemaitis with his Cayman GT4, which we hope will continue with many other races.”
For driver Andrius Zemaitis it will be a debut at the wheel of the mythical car of the Stuttgart brand, whose model has already proved to be quite competitive last year. Andrius Zemaitis is a Bronze driver and will enter the AM category, where he will drive solo and throughout the weekend, in hopes to gain experience and kilometers behind the wheel of the German model.
For Diogo Ferrão, responsible for the GT4 South European, “it is with great pride that we see new teams joining a championship that has everything to be a success, with spectacular cars that fill the drivers and the public with passion. I wish Andrius and the Pro-Rallye team all the best, and I hope both will remain in the championship for many more races.”
The GT4 South European starts next weekend in Jerez de La Frontera, on December 12th and 13th, and ends on January 23rd and 24th at Autódromo do Algarve, in Portimão.
