Tockwith Motorsports will increase its commitment to GT4 South European Series by entering three more cars at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve round on October 25th and 27th.

The British squad have been taking part in the series supported by Betano since the first race with a Ginetta G50 GT4 shared by Marmaduke Hall and Edward Moore entered in the GTC Cup, and achieved impressive results – in Barcelona race two the English pair crossed the finish line in second after battling for the overall win until the last corner.

At Portimão, the Simon Moore-led team will race two further Ginetta G50 GT4 – one for Sarah Moore and Moh Ritson and another for Jemma Moore and Callum Bradshaw – and a Porsche for Marcus Fothergil and Dave Benett.

Sarah Moore took part this year in the inaugural W Series, a ground-breaking racing series for woman that uses the same FIA Formula 3 Regional chassis, finishing eighth place in the standings among twenty competitors.

Teaming up once again with Sarah Moore will be Moh Riston, who has been taking part in the Britcar Endurance Championship, showing a strong pace since his debut alongside the female driver who won the championship in 2018.

Driving the third GTC Cup entry will be Jemma Moore and Callum Bradshaw. The youngster racer of the Moore clan has been taking part in the Junior Saloon Car Championship this season, recording one win and five podiums in twelve races. Teammate Bradshaw is stepping up to car racing after a promising go-kart career.

Completing the Tockwith Motorsports-run cars line-up will be Marcus Fothergill and Dave Benett. The Bespoke Racing Cars pair are regular Britcar Endurance Championship participants.

Simon Moore, Team Principal of Tockwith Motorsports, said: “I’m pleased to announce that we are bringing over three more cars from the United Kingdom to take part in the Algarve round to join our present GT4 South European Series running car. We are pleased that the drivers are looking towards the series promoted by Race Ready in the future”.

Diogo Ferrao, Race Ready’s CEO, added: “Tockwith Motorsports is with us since the beginning and they are increasing their presence in the end of the season, looking forward to the upcoming season. It’s fantastic to see such an eclectic pool of drivers gathered here with youngsters coming from go karting and feeder series, a driver from a top single seater international series and gentlemen drivers. This proves that the GT4 South European Series have the conditions to meet different kind of expectations. I want to give a warm welcome to all new drivers and to thank Tockwith Motorsports for its confidence in us”.

The series promoted by Race Ready in partnership with SRO Motorsports Group kicked off at Nogaro, in the Coupe de Pâques, followed by the Spanish rounds at Jarama and Barcelona circuits. The next round will be held at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, on October 25-27, with the championship coming to an end later in the year with its season finale at Circuito do Estoril.

With the Betano Portugal support, all GT4 South European Series races will be broadcasted on TV – live in Portugal, Porto Canal, and delayed in Spain, Teledeporte – and will be streamed live on the series’ social media.
