Monaco (MC),  september 2018. Victories, podiums and plenty of satisfaction for the Alex

season.

In Elite 1 Finnish Henri Tuoomala on a Ford Mustang clinched victory in the Challenge

team’s one-two in the Challenge standings, finishing second behind his Japanese teammate
Kenko Miura, winner at the wheel of the Toyota Camry after retiring on Saturday due
to a minor technical problem. More great performances in Elite 2: in race 1 Saturday Kenko
Miura and Italian Pierluigi Veronesi (Ford Mustang) finished second and third among the
rookies, while in race 2 Sunday Veronesi repeated third place among the rookies behind the
team’s second Ford Mustang, driven by Finn Jesse Vartiainen, second in the special ranking.
The two finished in sixth and seventh place overall. In the Elite Club, a one-two for the team,
with Indian driver Advait Deodhar (Ford Mustang) leading ahead of the division’s defending
champion, Austrian Andreas Kuchelbacher (Toyota Camry). Fifth position for Belgian Jerome
Francois on the second Ford Mustang.

Alex Caffi said “A more than positive weekend, I would say one of the best since we started
this adventure in Nascar. Many trophies, many podiums in the categories. The Finnish drivers
were a surprise, both scored podiums as soon as they got on the track. Pierluigi Veronesi is
very satisfied to bring home two podium finishes and within the overall top ten. Kenko Miura
was very unlucky, suffering two breakdowns due to small technical problems. In the end he
made up for it with a victory in the Challenge and a second place among the Rookies. Great
happiness in the team where everyone is extremely motivated, we will try to do our best for
the last round in just over a month at the Zolder Final”.

The Finals of the 2018 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series 2018 are scheduled in one month, on the
