MOORESVILLE, NC – (April 11, 2016) For a second consecutive season, Hostile’s lightweight forged billet wheel will drive Arie Luyendyk Jr. forward in the TORC Series. The unique black and orange wheels will again be represented on the GUNK PRO 2.
“Hostile Wheels and their wheel display became a fan favorite in the TORC paddock in 2015,” team owner and PRO 2 driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. expressed, “I’m happy to have not only a great looking wheel back on the truck, but a great performing wheel as well. Throughout the 2015 season, we were developing the wheel with Hostile and I was more than impressed with the performance and durability. The wheels on a PRO 2 truck have to be super strong to withstand all the banging and load through the bead of the tire. Our Hostile wheels never let us down.”
For more than four years, Hostile Off-Road Wheels have been individualizing off-road vehicles. At Hostile Off-Road Wheels, everything revolves around the aggressive off-road lifestyle; from the technical research conducted to make PRO 2 race wheels lighter and stronger to the innovative designs that inspire head-turning vehicle modifications. It is this combination of strength and style that captured the attention of off-road enthusiasts in Hostile’s inaugural TORC season with Arie Luyendyk Racing.
“It was a pleasure having Arie Luyendyk Jr. be a part of the Hostile Off-Road wheels team in 2015,” stated Bill Koenig, Executive Vice President of Hostile Off-Road wheels, “His TORC racing participation has put us in front our customer base throughout the year, with exciting action. We hope to see Arie atop the podium this year with his new truck and team and Hostile Off-Road race wheels leading him to victory! It was an honor to showcase our Hostile Off-road wheel product to the TORC racing fans and leaders in the off-road racing world in 2015 and we look forward to doing more of the same in 2016 with the exciting efforts of Arie Luyendyk Jr.”
