Treviso (Italy), March 21, 2016. Scuderia Villorba Corse gets back in action for the first time in 2016 at the European Le Mans Series official test on March 22/23 at Le Castellet. Italian team will test the new Ligier JS P3 powered by Nissan adding Niccolò Schirò to its regular driver line-up formed by Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto, who had already confirmed their “Road to Le Mans” racing project. The 22 year old driver from Milan will make his debut on a LMP3 class prototype after two brilliant GT seasons with the team led by Raimondo Amadio.
Team principal Amadio says; “We are expecting two very demanding days in Le Castellet. Approaching the start of the season with Schirò is a reinforcement for our entire racing program. For him this will be the third season with us. He is perfectly integrated within the team. I believe that with Lacorte and Sernagiotto as teammates he will be at ease and will be able to make the most of his undoubted potential”.
